Timothy J. Messer, DPT, MSPT, LAT, CSCS is a native of Montana. He is a licensed physical therapist, a licensed athletic trainer and a certified strength and conditioning specialist. Tim has spent the last 15 years working with adolescent and collegiate athletes. Tim has been involved in developing outreach wellness programs, school curriculums, strength and conditioning and athletic training programs. In 2005, Tim served as an associate professor at the University of Montana teaching Gross Anatomy and Kinesiology. He continues to serve the University as a clinical advisor for both physical therapy and athletic training students and has served on faculty search committees. Tim is the owner of Active Physical therapy and Sports Injury Center, LLC.

Toby Chapman, MS, CSCS, PES, PTA
Toby has been providing personal training and physical therapy services since 1994. Toby received his Masters Degree in Exercise Science from California University of Pennsylvania, and has advanced specialization as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is a Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting. He has extensive experience working with athletes of all ages and all levels of competition. In the summer, Toby conducts speed and agility camps for middle and high school kids.

Laurie Darnell, MSPT
Laurie joined Active Physical Therapy & Sports Injury Center in September 2010 after practicing in Georgia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Georgia and received her Master’s in Physical Therapy from North Georgia College and State University in 2006. Laurie provides therapeutic care for all ages.
